How do you plan a day trip to Disneyland Paris? Pick one park, start early and do the rides in a loop. This route covers Disneyland Park, the original park with the castle, land by land: Fantasyland, then Discoveryland, then Frontierland and Adventureland, finishing at Sleeping Beauty Castle for the night show.
Go straight to Peter Pan's Flight when you get in, because its queue only grows during the day. Then work through Fantasyland, cross to Discoveryland for Star Tours and Hyperspace Mountain, and spend the afternoon on Phantom Manor, Big Thunder Mountain, Indiana Jones and Pirates of the Caribbean. In total you walk about 2.5 km between the rides.
A full day from opening until the night show. 14 stops and about 2.5 km on foot, around 35 minutes of walking in total. Queue times change all day, so treat the order as the plan and the stop times as a rough guide.

Walk straight up Main Street, through the castle and into Fantasyland. Peter Pan's Flight has one of the longest queues in the park, so ride it first while the line is short.

Right next door. Fly with Dumbo while the Fantasyland queues are still short.
Stop 3 · Attraction · Hedge maze, Fantasyland
Get lost in the hedge maze and climb the Queen of Hearts' castle at the end for a view over Fantasyland.
Stop 4 · Attraction · Spinning ride, Fantasyland
Spin on the Mad Hatter's Tea Cups, just outside the maze exit.
Stop 5 · Attraction · Boat ride, Fantasyland
Sing along on the boat ride through It's a Small World, a good rest for small legs.
Stop 6 · Attraction · Shooting dark ride, Discoveryland
Cross into Discoveryland and shoot Zurg's targets on Buzz Lightyear. Compare scores at the end.
Stop 7 · Attraction · Flight simulator, Discoveryland
Jump to lightspeed on Star Tours, a few steps away.
Stop 8 · Attraction · Roller coaster, Discoveryland
Rocket into Hyperspace Mountain, the biggest coaster in the park.
Tip: Too short or not keen on loops? Use Rider Switch: one adult rides while the other waits with the kids, then they swap without queuing again.
Stop 9 · Attraction · Driving ride, Discoveryland
Race your own car on Autopia. Kids love being the driver.
Stop 10 · Attraction · Haunted house ride, Frontierland
Cross the park to Frontierland and get spooked in Phantom Manor, the haunted house on the hill.
Stop 11 · Attraction · Roller coaster, Frontierland
Hold on tight on Big Thunder Mountain, the mine train that races around the island in the river.
Stop 12 · Attraction · Roller coaster, Adventureland
Walk into Adventureland and dodge boulders with Indiana Jones.
Stop 13 · Attraction · Boat ride, Adventureland
Sail with the pirates of the Caribbean, a long boat ride and a good break before the evening.
Stop 14 · Attraction · Castle, Central Plaza
End the day in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle with Disney Tales of Magic, the nighttime show with projections on the castle and fireworks.
Tip: Find a spot on Main Street or the Central Plaza well before the show starts. The show time is in the Disneyland Paris app and changes with the season.

Best for: Shopping and the RER
Haussmann-style hotel next to the Val d'Europe RER station and shopping centre, one RER stop from the parks. A Disney partner hotel.

Best for: Big families
Pirate-themed family hotel with an indoor water play area and large family rooms, with a free shuttle bus to the parks.
